The Goal
Move all 52 cards onto the four foundation piles, building each suit from Ace up to King.
The Layout
- Tableau — Seven columns of cards. The top card of each column is face-up; the rest start face-down.
- Foundations — Four empty piles at the top. Build them up by suit (Ace → 2 → … → King).
- Stock — The remaining face-down cards. Tap to deal to the waste.
- Waste — Cards dealt from the stock. Only the top card is available to play.
Building Rules
- In the tableau, build down in alternating colors (red on black, black on red). You may move a single card or a face-up sequence.
- Only a King (or a sequence starting with a King) may be placed on an empty tableau column.
- On the foundations, build up by suit. By default any suit may start any foundation; you can enable “Suit-Restricted Foundations” in Settings if you prefer the classic one-suit-per-foundation rule.
- When the stock is empty, tapping it again recycles the waste (face-down, order reversed).
Controls in the App
- Tap to select a face-up card or sequence (it highlights). Tap a valid destination to move it.
- Auto-Move (Settings) — When enabled, a single tap on a card that has exactly one legal destination moves it immediately.
- Hint — Suggests a legal move and highlights it in cyan. Use it when you’re stuck.
- Undo — Reverses the last move. You can undo many steps in a row.
- Stock — Tap the stock pile to deal 1 or 3 cards (depending on your Deal Style setting).
- New Game — Available from the menu / toolbar. Optionally restrict to “Winnable Deals Only” in Settings.
Deal Style & Scoring
In Settings you can choose:
- 1-card or 3-card draw — Changes how many cards come off the stock each time. Applies to the next new game.
- Standard scoring — Points for moving cards to foundations, flipping cards, and certain waste plays.
- Vegas scoring — Starts at −52; +5 points for every card placed on a foundation. No points for other moves.
Themes, Sound & Accessibility
- Open Settings → Themes to change card faces, card backs, and table backgrounds (including a custom photo from your library).
- Toggle sound effects and adjust volume; enable or disable haptic feedback.
- Turn on Reduce Animations for shorter move animations and faster auto-finish pacing.
Winning
When every card is on the foundations, the win overlay and confetti appear. Your time, moves, and score are recorded in Statistics / Scoreboard. You can also view Game Center leaderboards and achievements if signed in.
